Extracurricular activities

Hello again. This is just a quick post to tell you about some of the exciting extracurricular activities that members of The Sweet Nothings are involved in right now. When we say “members of The Sweet Nothings”, we mean Dan, mostly.

On 22 January Dan is promoting an acoustic popshow at the Rutland Arms in Sheffield, featuring The Middle Ones, Haiku Salut, Plouf! and Oxo Foxo. You totally should come. Then next month Dan’s club night Pop-o-Matic is up and running again, this time at the Lescar on 11 February.

Meanwhile Pete is going to read some of his poems and stuff at Northern Lights, a new spoken word night at the Rutland Arms. That’s on Tuesday 8 February.

And as if all that’s not exciting enough, Dan has just had a query included, and answered, in the Guardian’s Notes & Queries section! This is probably as close as The Sweet Nothings are likely to come to fame in the new year.

See you soon!
