Oooh, some gigs

Hello again. We’re all giddy and a-flutter from our first gig of 2011, last Friday at the excellent Chameleon in Nottingham. The Loves and Burly Nagasaki were a big stack of fun, and it was great to see Heroes of the Mexican Independence Movement: the new band featuring our friend Paul John Sarel, previously of the brilliant Rocky Nest. Big thanks to Alex out of Japanese Sleepers for putting us on (and providing somewhere for Dan and Pete to sleep).

That’s not all: we’re also delighted to be announcing our appearance at another couple of popshows, both with staggeringly good line-ups. One is supporting the mighty Eux Autres in Birmingham on 2 March. We heart Eux Autres. The second is a sort of all-dayer on 19 March in the London, at a library! It’s part of a campaign against the library closures resulting from the Tory bastards’ spending cuts.

Have a look at the gigs page for more information about those, and please come along if you can!
